Support
AutoHalo
AutoHalo pairs your phone with your car as a Bluetooth key and runs your routines. Your car must support phone keys over Bluetooth: AutoHalo checks the car's number when you pair and tells you if it is not supported.
Or write to support@clicksparksoftware.com. Replies normally come within two business days.
Frequently asked
It can't find my car.
Stand next to the car with it awake (open a door or sit inside). Make sure Bluetooth is on and AutoHalo has Bluetooth permission.
Pairing asks me to tap a key card.
That is the car's own approval step. Sit in the car, enter the number and tap Pair, then tap your key card on the console where the picture shows.
Two cars match the six characters I typed.
Type the full 17-character VIN instead. Tap “Where is it?” on the pairing screen to see where to find it.
A command says “No reply”.
The car did not confirm it. AutoHalo never shows a command as done until the car does. Move closer and try again.
Routines don't run when the app is closed.
Background behaviour depends on your phone. The app's Readiness tab shows what is in the way, such as Bluetooth or battery saving, and how to fix it. AutoHalo cannot run a routine when the operating system has stopped the app.
Do I need an account or a signal?
No. There is no account, and the phone talks to the car directly over Bluetooth, so it works underground with no signal.
What does Pro add?
Pro is a one-time purchase that adds more cars, the opening and climate controls, every routine, home screen widgets and Shortcuts. Free covers one car with lock, unlock, honk and flash. Settings › AutoHalo Pro has Buy and Restore.
Reporting a bug
What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot is worth a paragraph. If the app crashed, say what you were doing at the moment it went.
