Frequently asked
My wrist is not tapped when the screen is off.
SoftCue delivers background cues as Watch notifications. Allow notifications when asked, or turn them on in the Watch app on your iPhone under Notifications → SoftCue. Focus and Do Not Disturb silence them, and Theatre Mode and Low Power Mode can delay or suppress them.
The tap feels different when the app is closed.
That is a watchOS limit. While SoftCue is on screen it plays the pattern you chose. In the background, watchOS delivers its standard notification tap.
I bought Pro on my iPhone but the Watch still says free.
Open SoftCue on the iPhone and tap Settings → Sync now, then open the Watch app. If it still shows free, open Settings → SoftCue Pro on the Watch and tap Restore Purchases. Both devices must use the same Apple Account.
Restore Purchases says nothing was found.
Check that you are signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase (iPhone Settings → your name → Media & Purchases). Purchases belong to the Apple Account, not the device.
Cues I edited on iPhone do not appear on the Watch.
Bring the Watch and iPhone near each other with Bluetooth on, open SoftCue on both, and tap Settings → Sync now on the iPhone. Changes wait and deliver when the Watch is reachable.
The countdown is not on my watch face.
The countdown complication is part of Pro; the free complication shows whether a cue is active. Pro users can turn the countdown off in Settings → Countdown on watch face.
A cue stopped by itself.
A scheduled cue stops when its active hours end and no further days are set. Check the cue's days and start and end times in the iPhone app.
Known limitations
One cue runs at a time — starting another replaces the current one. Custom haptic patterns play only while SoftCue is on screen; background cues use the system tap. There is no iCloud sync; data moves only between your iPhone and its paired Watch. Siri phrases ("Start SoftCue", "Pause SoftCue", "Stop SoftCue") run on the Watch.
