About the app

SoftCueSilent interval reminders for Apple Watch

A quiet tap on your wrist.

SoftCue is a silent interval timer for Apple Watch. Pick an interval and tap Start. When the time is up, your Watch taps you. No sound, no banner to read, nothing to look at. Pause when you need to, resume when you are back, stop when you are done. A small ring shows how far along you are.

Use it for whatever a quiet nudge helps with: checking your posture, drinking water, looking away from the screen, pacing a meeting, keeping a sense of time during deep work. The iPhone app edits cues, shows your history and manages the purchase.

What it does

  • Silent by design

Cues arrive as a tap on the wrist. No sound and nothing to read.

  • Start from the wrist

Turn the Digital Crown to pick an interval and tap Start, or start from the watch-face complication.

  • Named cues and schedules

With Pro: unlimited named cues for posture, water, eyes or focus, each with its own days and hours.

  • Six haptic patterns

With Pro: single, gentle, strong, double, triple or escalating, plus a repeat tap if a cue is missed.

  • History

With Pro: daily and weekly counts of cues answered, with simple charts on iPhone.

  • One purchase, no account

Free covers one cue at 5 to 60 minutes. SoftCue Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

What this app is, and is not

  • SoftCue is a general-purpose reminder tool. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and its history counts are only a record of taps and responses.
  • Screenshots show sample data.
