MetronomeHaptics

Last updated October 2, 2026

Summary

MetronomeHaptics keeps everything on your devices. It has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs. It never uses the microphone.

What this app stores

MetronomeHaptics stores the following, on your device:

  • Your presets, setlists and preferences — names, tempos, time signatures, accents and subdivisions
  • Session history — when you practised, for how long, the mode and the tempos used
  • Whether you own Pro, cached so the unlock works offline

Who else receives data

The following third parties receive data from this app, for the purposes described:

  • Apple handles the MetronomeHaptics Pro purchase through the App Store. It receives standard purchase traffic tied to your Apple Account, never your presets or history, and sends us only aggregate sales and download counts that do not identify you.

Sync between iPhone and Apple Watch

Your presets, setlists, settings and up to your latest 300 sessions sync directly between your iPhone and its paired Apple Watch, using Apple's Watch Connectivity. Nothing leaves your two devices.

Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled on the device; Apple's own Siri privacy terms apply to the voice part. Links in the app open in Safari only when you tap them.

Backups

The app's data is included in your iCloud Backup or encrypted device backup, if you use one. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it.

Permissions

MetronomeHaptics does not ask for any system permissions. It has no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location or photo library.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

MetronomeHaptics contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, and it does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites.

Children

MetronomeHaptics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Deleting your data

How to remove what MetronomeHaptics holds:

  • Delete everything: open MetronomeHaptics on iPhone, go to Settings → Delete All Data, and confirm. This removes your presets, setlists, history and settings on the phone, and the deletion syncs to the watch.
  • Deleting the app from the watch removes the watch's copy. Uninstalling on any device removes everything stored there.
  • Your Pro purchase stays with your Apple Account and can be restored.
  • We hold no copy of anything, so there is nothing for us to delete and nothing for us to recover.
