Summary

FrameHang works on your device. The camera feed is processed locally for AR and never uploaded, there is no account, and neither your layouts nor the artwork you import is stored on any server.

What this app stores

FrameHang stores the following, on your device:

Saved layouts — frame sizes, positions, spacing and the arrangement itself, stored locally on the device
Artwork and photographs you import into frames, kept with the layout they belong to
Screenshots and plans you choose to save
Your settings: units, default frame sizes and preferred spacing

Who else receives data

The following third parties receive data from this app, for the purposes described:

Apple and Google process the purchase and send us aggregate sales counts by country. Those reports do not identify you, and we never see your name, email address or payment details.

Permissions

FrameHang asks for a system permission only at the point it needs one. You can decline any of them, and the rest of the app keeps working:

Camera — required for the AR view — it detects the wall and places frames at true scale. It is requested when you start an AR session, not at launch, and the feed is processed on the device.
Photo library — requested when you import your own artwork into a frame, save a capture, or bring in a photograph of a wall for Photo Estimate Mode. Imported images stay on the device.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

FrameHang contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, and it does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites.

Children

FrameHang is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Deleting your data

How to remove what FrameHang holds:

Delete a saved layout in the app and it is removed from the device immediately, along with any artwork imported into it.
Deleting the app removes every saved layout, imported image and capture it stored.
Your original photographs stay in your photo library — importing copies them into the layout and does not move or alter the originals. Captures you saved to Photos stay there too.
If your device backs up to iCloud, that backup may include the app's saved layouts until the backup is replaced. That copy is between you and Apple; we have no access to it.
We hold no copy of anything at any point, so there is nothing for us to delete and nothing for us to recover.
