Beamie keeps everything on your device, so you can delete all of it yourself, at any time, without asking us.

Beamie has no account and stores nothing on our servers, because there are no servers. Deleting the app deletes everything it held.
Delete your data inside the app
Beamie can erase everything it holds without you uninstalling it:
- Delete a Private Channel from its details screen (Channels → the channel → Delete Private Channel). Its code and key are removed from the Keychain straight away.
- Deleting the app removes its settings and channel list. iOS can keep an app's Keychain items after the app is deleted, so delete your Private Channels in the app first if you want their codes gone for certain. Those items stay on this iPhone only and are never synced to iCloud.
- Messages are not kept after you leave the conversation, so there is no message history to delete.
- We hold no copy of anything, so there is nothing for us to delete and nothing for us to recover.
Delete everything
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device:
- iPhone or iPad — touch and hold the app icon, choose Remove App, then Delete App.
- Android — touch and hold the app icon and drag it to Uninstall, or use Settings, then Apps, then Uninstall.
- Your own device backups may still contain a copy until those backups are replaced or deleted. Those backups belong to you, and we have no access to them.
What we hold
We hold no account for you and no copy of your Beamie data. The only personal information we would ever hold is an email you chose to send us for support.
Delete a support email
If you have written to support and want that correspondence deleted, email support@clicksparksoftware.com with the subject "Delete my data". We will delete the thread and confirm, normally within 30 days.
