Recipe Dial

Last updated January 1, 2026

Summary

Recipe Dial keeps your recipes on your device. Photos you scan are processed on-device.

What this app stores

Recipe Dial stores the following, on your device:

  • Recipes, scaling history and shopping lists you create, stored locally on the device

Who else receives data

No third parties receive data from Recipe Dial. It does not include analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it does not send your content anywhere.

Permissions

Recipe Dial asks for a system permission only at the point it needs one. You can decline any of them, and the rest of the app keeps working:

  • Camera — to scan a printed recipe.
  • Photo library — to import a photo of a recipe you already took.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Recipe Dial contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, and it does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites.

Children

Recipe Dial is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Deleting your data

Deleting a record removes it from the app. Deleting Recipe Dial removes everything it stored on your device. There is no server-side copy for us to delete.
