Frequently asked
Why does IPScope want my location?
Only to show the Wi-Fi network name. iOS and Android hide it from apps without location permission. IPScope never records or sends your location, and every tool works without it.
Why can't it find devices on my network?
On iPhone and iPad, allow Local Network access (Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → IPScope). Some devices ignore ping and have no open ports on the ones probed, and guest or isolated Wi-Fi networks block devices from seeing each other.
Why do some tools say they are unavailable on my phone?
Mobile operating systems restrict some low-level networking. Where a platform does not allow a tool to work reliably, IPScope disables it and explains why rather than showing results it cannot trust.
What is free, and what does Pro add?
Free includes network information, ping, TCP ping, single port checks, DNS and reverse DNS, public IP, the port reference, a basic TCP client, the subnet calculator and recent history. IPScope Pro is a one-time purchase that adds the full port and subnet scanners, listeners, UDP client, TLS inspector, HTTP tester, mDNS browser, subnet designer, custom DNS servers, unlimited history and favourites, and export.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Open Settings and tap Restore purchase, signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account that bought it.
